In literacy, we have been learning about different forms of poety . We had to make a Haiku and it had to be about rain . If you made a Haiku what would it be about 

Giraffe information report

 In Mrs. Osdorns lit we have been learning about endangered animals, we went to Orana park to find out more about all of the animals and we had to choose one that we had to do a information report on and I did mine all about giraffes. We had to find other things all about them on websites about our animals as well.

The little krispies

 

In math, we have been doing measurement. and we did a measurement task, we have to bake something . We made rice Krispies. What would you bake?         

Area,Perimeter and Volume

 

In maths, we have been learning about Area, Perimeter, and Volume and we had to make a slide about it. this is what I made. What are you doing in maths ?

Egg drop

 On Wednesday we did a science experiment where we had to drop the egg of a high place and make it not crack but we could only use 3 pieces of paper, 2 pieces of tape, string, and a bag. My group's design was the egg as rapped in 3 pieces of paper and then put it in a bag.do you think that your egg would break?

Hi there Ella and I made this scratch project it is about who to say the weather. can you say the weather in moari ?

refugee storyboard

 

For literacy, we have been reading Refugee by Alan Gratz.   We looked at the main character and picked 3 words to describe them.  I picked kind scared and sad

For our create task, we had to use Storyboard that, and pick one of our describing words to storyboard.  We needed to think about what happened just before that scene, and just after and how we could show emotion in our character's face.

I decided to kind  I showed this through Isabel sharing some of her food with the cat even tho she doesn't have much food for herself.

in literacy, at the moment we are learning about WW1 and in particular, the role the ANZACS played in it.

We know that the ANZACS landed at ANZAC cove on April 25th, 1915.  They arrived by boat, and were greeted by a beach that was in chaos, steep, rugged cliffs and the Turks firing at them from the top of the cliffs.

Many men lost their lives that day, many never made it to the beach.  The ones that did were about to start a long journey filled with tears, despair and sadness.

This animation is to show the landing at ANZAC Cove.
